TV recaps, Entertainment, & Pop Culture
The next season of Real Housewives of New York is underway and we’re already hearing about some drama.
Nope, not drama amongst the ladies but between them and the open sea.
Our favorite franchise (or maybe it’s just my favorite franchise) went on their annual trip, this time to Columbia. Reports came out yesterday that the ladies of the big apple almost died.
Allegedly their boat almost sank; the New York Post reported that the boat caught fire and then described it as a ‘vomit drenched cruise from hell.’
I personally find all cruises to be hellish, so the fact that these ladies almost died while the cameras were rolling is enough for me to never, ever step foot on a boat ever again (not that I had any intention).
The reports said that the trip already started out poorly when the anchor on the boat was stuck and had to be SAWED OFF.
If that’s happening within the first 10 minutes, I’m OUT. How did Bravo allow our ladies to be treated this way? Was Andy Cohen in his lair controlling the boat from NBC HQ?
How was this even allowed? If an anchor is being SAWED OFF the boat, everything should be canceled.
Then the engine caught fire, the waters were rough, and everyone got sick.
I hope they got all of this on camera, because there is no franchise I would rather see go down in flames, literally than New York.
Last year’s New York season was the best in franchise history; I’ve never seen such a good season and this season was bound to top that with the Tom divorce & LuAnn getting arrested.
Now, we have even more to look forward too… unless Bethenny Frankel has anything to do with it.
The SkinnyGirl mogul tweeted late Wednesday night that “One thing abt the housewives...we never let the truth get in the way of a good story. There was a boating incident. That said, the details being reported are false.”
I guess we’ll have to wait for the trailer/full season to get the real story about what happened to the NYC ladies!
